Famous for their brunch, which always has lots of good vegetarian options. I didn't find their live music and bar scene very enjoyable, as it's more of a restaurant than a venue or bar.
I don't know why I didn't take a picture of the food, but everything was excellent. The putenesca was perfect! Better than I expected. You could tell everything was prepared fresh from scratch and my fiance had the pork chop special which was also perfect, thick and had the best caramelized crust to it. Drinks were also good, had a good old fashioned and a nice Chianti. So happy we finally went since Italian restaurants have been letting me down for such a long time. Prices are fair and portions are big! I will Service was fast, friendly and witty. Excellent date spot! Can't wait to go back.
A stylish restaurant with pasta, pizza, and seafood. The interior is very classy, though there were glimpses of the casual. We ordered the grouper a la francaise, it was delicious. The servers were spotless. The bathroom could be cleaner. The prizes were a bit on the higher side for the level of formality.
This has been one of my favorites for a couple decades, but it's going downhill in several ways. First the prices started shooting up with smaller dishes and parts that used to be included in the meal now costing extra (e.g., the Tofu Stir fry became just Stir Fry with the option to purchase tofu to add to it). The buffet is great and very creative (but the most expensive I've seen). We keep going back because over half the time the food is really tasty (other times lacking enough flavoring) and we love the rolls with marinara sauce. Tonight my dish was somewhat flavored but I had to request soy sauce. My husband got the same dish but it was half the size of mine. Most of the issue was there were only a few strands of pasta at the bottom of the Stir Fry. He pointed out to the waitress that they apparently forgot the pasta or made a mistake. They brought a bowl of unflavored pasta and poured it on his dish. Then when the bill came we were charged $7 for a "side of pasta"! I would have complained but my dad is a loyal customer and didn't want to make waves. I do still want to love this place but the inconsistency and unethical charges like tonight have me very disappointed.
Our reservation for 4 people was at 6:30. We didn't get food until 7:30, and we ordered shortly after sitting down (probably a record, but it wasn't quite busy yet.) We ordered our entrees and a salad. The salad never came. The wine I wanted was no longer available but still on the menu. The waitress was so theatrical it was annoying and if she said "perfect" one more time was was going to strangle her. The prices are pretty high for a place that is LOUD, uncomfortable and needs a face lift a lot more than an old actress! Francesca's across town is a much better option for ambiance and the food is amazing. PS the entrees were good.
