Love hate relationship with HF. Since I'm cheap i keep going back... Great prices... Some of the tools are great too... But lots of stuff comes with missing pieces, a few of the workers get aggravated when you ask them any questions... And worse of all...
Not to bad for cheap folks as my self I just hate the Return fees just to exact product back on shelf a week later. Seriously
Saturday after the hurricane you'd expect it to be busy, it was....but only one cashier. After standing in a long line for 15 minutes without moving, I gave up and left. Your loss, Home Depot's gain.
If you buy certain machines and tools, and they don't work brand new out the box... They charge you a restock fee of 20% to bring back their broken crap. Doesnt matter if you come back the same day. Then they most likely just reseal the box and sell it again still broken... They do this 5 times and they made their asking price on a broken tool...
If you need a quick tool, great place.
I do enjoy coming to this place. It's like Toys R' Us for adults. They have the best prices in town for the materials and equipment we need for our company, and the quality is just as good if not better than anywhere else. The only reason it is not 5 stars is sometimes their inventory is low, especially if we need to buy things like moving pads or dollies in bulk. But I guess that could be because I'm not the only one who has discovered this gem of Gainesville.
