Like a lot of the Lowe's and Home Depot stores there never seem to be enough employees to help people. However, I needed to return a kobalt tool after a few years and it had a good warranty so they switched it out pretty easily. Would give five stars if it didn't take so long to find someone in the various departments to ask questions. That's not about this Lowe's in particular. Seems to be all of the big home improvement stores. But, the employees have been friendly and I can take my dog in there, so I go pretty often.
Not sure if they are organized adequately enough to stay profitable. Never staffed enough, no one seems to know much about anything, some walk by, without even as much as a hello. They give you delivery time and can't adhere to it, causing you to loose a day. They desperately need help, but doubtedly pay enough to keep the right staff.
Only a 5 star because of Al the manager. Today he choose to help the customer with a discrepancy on website with what I had bought and only he was willing to admit the website was wrong and therefore help me with an exchange. Definitely need more people like Al at Lowes because Alachua Lowes wouldn’t help me at all!
Very dissatisfied with their remodeling/design services. Paid for a $60k kitchen remodeling in November 2016. Job was supposed to start end of January, but contractor forgot to require permit, which postponed the beginning of the job by 3 weeks. From there, it was frustration after frustration. Guys would show up one day and then you would not see them for a week or so. Remodeling was supposed to take 8 weeks, but it's been 6 months 1/2 and they don't seem to care about delivering a finished product. It's only details now, but the kitchen does not look finished at all. Keep contacting Lowe's but they seem clueless as to when the contractor will show up. I have bathrooms to remodel but will absolutely not use their services again. You don't even hear from the designer/sales person anymore once problems start accumulating. Very upset with myself for using their services despite my initial negative feelings - I guess the sales person was very persuasive, as I'm not an easy client to convince.
Staff was very helpful in helping me find a new washer machine, mine had broken several months ago and finally LABOR DAY SALES ARE HAPPENING! I got very much hooked up with a incredible deal and saved hundreds on a washer. Free delivery too!
