A great get away-walking or bicycling. Completely natural with board walks at wet places next to creek.
Probably one of the best parks in Gainesville. Easy to navigate, multiple trails, peaceful streams, and much larger than you might originally expect. Small bridges cross over the streams at various points. Would recommend bug spray or a brisk pace in the hottest months. Wear good shoes!
Excellent wooded area ...love it you can walk or bike. The hogtown Creek nasty from rain other than that it's neat.
Great place to go running, walk the dogs, have a picnic, read a book or just hang out by the river. You can also find sharks teeth in the river if you sift through the sand.
Love going here to go running and walking. Very hard to see from the road but if you can find it it's truly a gem.
