I have been renting from Carl Turlington Real Estate since 2014, and I have had nothing but a positive experience everr since. The application process was easy, and quick, and Alicia has helped me with everything from the application process, and as a current resident. The receptionist at the office is always a pleasure to speak with, and no matter what I may need, she is always happy to assist me. Any time I have a service request, the turnaround time for it to get done is really quick, and the vendors are really nice. I have been renting from them for three years, and I definitely plan on staying.
We have rented from Alicia and the Turlington crew for 4 years with no issues. They are quick to respond to an issue. When our house was damaged during Hurricane Irma they quickly found us a new place. The process could not have been easier and the whole staff was very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. Great people!!!
They accept multiple application and took forever to process. My boyfriend and I applied first, there was another guy saw we applied then he applied immediately as well. But the employee just accepted it. Feels like they were just collecting as much application fee as they can. Sooner we checked on Google reviews, some people said the same thing.
Crooked people. Greedy and unjust. Unresponsive. They tell their tenants that they can SUBLET their apartments, which leads a tenant to think they can sublease. These are not the same. A Sublet is where a new tenant would have to do everything a new tenant would do, but have a shorter lease. I was led to believe I could sublease, but ended up paying $80 in application fees to find out I could not sublease. Angie, a representative, laughed at me on the phone, and was very unhelpful. Alicia Phillips will not answer my email. Or return my call. Unprofessional.
We have only been renting from Carl Turlington Real Estate for a short time, but every experience from day one have been pleasant and very professional. Alicia and the staff made our application process and move in very easy and smooth at a time when we were dealing with a recent tragedy. The office staff is great and very helpful and Alicia have been the best. Will recommend to anyone.
But it was a very unprofessional, a very inefficient, and a bad experience to work with them.
At the beginning, they told us will take 7-10 days to process. After A MONTH, they FINALLY contacted us said we got the place (we called them multiple times meanwhile). We did not move in since we already found another place to live.
