Ameris Bank is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. The loan officer Mike Jones should be replaced with some one who knows how to do their job. I applied for a mortgage on August 11 and it is now December 10, and this guy Mike won't return my calls. It has been 4 months, while attempting to refinance a small mortgage, I have given them a check for 600.00 in October to do the appraisal and inspection and still no appraisal or inspection.
