Overall Massage Envy is okay. I think their membership is a good bargain but should be more selective in who they hire.
But it has been awhile since I broke my back.
Stay clear of their new esthetician. I had an appointment last night and my experience was horrendous. She didn't massage my arms or scalp (which is standard for facials). My skin was on fire and also my eyes since she decided to put alcohol pads on them and continuously pressed them on harder to keep them from falling off I guess. Also she kept dropping product on my mouth. Sloppy horrible service. I will definitely never book with her again. She claimed to have over a decade experience in the industry but I think this lady is in the wrong industry. A newbie straight out of school would do better than her.
Exceedingly poor customer service. Unable to comment on massages as the manager canceled our reservation. My friend and I had planned to get massages for her birthday then afterward retreat to her porch to read novels and drink wine. My friend had an UNOPENED bottle of wine in her bag we had just bought for this intent prior to walking over to the store front. Upon hearing discussions of our plan, the receptionist whisked my friend back to the manager's office where she was summarily interrogated about her sobriety, made to throw away the UNOPENED bottle (a birthday present), and had our reservation canceled because we weren't "sober" even though no alcohol had been consumed. Ruined our birthday festivities and destroyed a birthday present. Neither I nor my friend will be returning.
I also had a prenatal massage with Cierra or Sierra? a while back and thought she did great. Although they make you lay on your side since they do not have the tables with the holes for your belly. That was slightly uncomfortable. I was really looking forward to laying facedown.
I received a 90 min massage.
And when I go back it will be $40 for a 60 min or $60 for a 90 min .
Can't wait to go back next week.
Explained we could start off with Med-ish pressure, he could tell when I need less and only had a few spots I was super sensitive but he did a fantastic job.
Recommend Heidi who does a fantastic job. This place is very professional and I have been going here for over a year and I always feel better after my massage.
I have received 20+ if not more massages in my lifetime.
So I knew I wasn't going to be able to go as deep as I normally would.
I feel the price is great. I normally would pay $60 for a 50 min massage. I paid $60 for a 90 min massage.
I recommend Michelle for facials. She does a fantastic job all around. She listens to your needs and communicates well during the service. 5 stars for Michelle.
Went here for my first deep full body massage since I broke my back in April.
Robbie was my masseuse and did a really good job asking me what was areas of concern.
