I went to Danielle a few weeks ago and usually at this point after a haircut I'm tired of it and ready for something different. But not this time! She did such an amazing job on my cut and color my hair looks and feels so healthy! The salon is clean and inviting, and all of the staff is really friendly! Yes they are a little bit on the pricier side but it is worth every penny! This is something you NEED to spend some $ on! 100% satisfied and I can't wait to go back!
Had the WORST experience ever. Came in for a baylage with a picture of how i wanted it. Walked out with reddish purple hair on top....i was so mortified I cried. The hair dresser had me wait around town for 2 hours so she could put some toner in it and try to fix it....i wasted more time and still left with horrible hair. When I asked for a refund, I was told I had to come back and see a different stylist for them to fix it...even though I had lost trust in these people, I had to get my hair fixed. So I went back and spent another 4 hours in the chair, only to walk out with semi less red hair. I paid a lot of money and spent a lot of time to have my hair look nothing like what I had wanted. I will NOT be going back, and I will be warning all of my friends and family not to go here .
The salon itself is beautiful and the receptionist was very sweet! This was my first time getting a haircut in Gainesville. I went to Rachel who was recommended by a friend but my experience was TERRIBLE! She seems to prioritize color over cuts. I went in there showing her multiple pictures of the cut I wanted. I had also texted her the picture of the haircut I wanted when I set up my appointment. Despite the multiple pictures, she destroyed my hair- it was at the my boobs when I went in and I left with my hair at my ears. It's true that we talked length, but not to that extent. To add to it, I went home and noticed how uneven she had left it. The manager was helpless too. Promising to get back to me but it's been two months of waiting. If you happen to go here, I DO NOT recommend Rachel.
