Extremely stressful and expensive coloring experience- ended up paying over $300 (and that's with all manner of discounts applied and the owner agreeing to give me several treatments for free) for hair color that is close to- but not what- I wanted. Hair was cut after the color, making the placement of my highlights odd. Unpleasant for the salon, and unpleasant for me. The clientele seems to be older folks and stylish but simple haircuts- if you're wanting something edgy and unusual, try elsewhere.
I came to Tecnicolor for Angela when she moved here about a year ago. She is the best stylist I've ever had and I would get my hair cut in an alley if she were the one doing the job. Angela has moved on now to Lucidity at Elegance Studio. Tecnicolors was pleasant enough while she was there. It has nice sunlight and is in a convenient location downtown. I wish them luck even though I am following Angela on to her new place.
Brian is a fantastic stylist. The color he uses lasts several weeks, making it worth the cost. He gives a great cut as well. Hair care is essential, I wouldn't risk going anywhere but Tecnicolors.

I've been going to Tecnicolors off and on for years and have always been happy with the cuts and various chemical processes I've had done there. I was recently amazed when my current stylist, Brian, helped me go back to my natural dark auburn color from a very white platinum. My hair was long and this color change is challenging for even a master colorist. Brian exceeded my expectations in every way, while being wise enough to temper them before we proceeded. There's a lot of skill in this salon and every time I've gone somewhere else I've been disappointed.
