Great selection of clothing and accessories. Purchasers are pretty reasonable as well.
The store itself is clean, but the staff is very rude.
The idea is good. The execution is not. Very picking buyers saying they only want clothes that have been in the mall in the last few months (or within the current season.) The prices paid for clothing should be higher for very new hardly worn clothes.
Every once in awhile you can get a good find there, but unless you're a size 0-3, good luck. They give you peanuts if you go to sell clothes there, and the staff is super snotty. I gave up on wading through all the barbie doll-sized clothes, while feeling judged awhile ago. :/
This is the last time I will EVER set foot in Plato's Closet. I am so tired of being spoken to like garbage by teenage employees every time I visit there. I get that you're busy, but have some freaking respect. Here's a suggestion: instead of posting on your social media about what your selling constantly, how about you inform your customers when you are cutting off the selling time early? I know I'm not the only one who is pissed when they drive across town only to be told that they won't accept anymore items for the day when it is before their usual cut off time. I spent hours collecting stuff to bring in today and had a great selection of trendy plus size pieces (which they are SEVERELY lacking), but I will be taking them to Sandy's tomorrow because they have actual adults that work there and know how to respectfully treat a customer. Good luck with posting all your XS and Small items on Instagram. Maybe if you carried a bigger selection then people would actually buy the stock that is there and you would have room for more.
Don't expect to receive lot of money for your unwanted apparel.
The clothing items are reasonably priced and all in great condition.
