Rotting produce on the shelves & deli has a problem getting sub orders out on time and accurately, during non peak hours. Very disappointing. Might as well go to aldi/walmart.
This is the most understaffed publix in Gainesville, and when you try to let management know that their staff needs some help, they completely ignore your suggestions and basically tell you to stuff it. Who has a skeleton staff on a Friday afternoon a few weeks before Christmas? One person at the customer service desk on the first Friday of the month? Doesn't take a genius to realize a lot of people will be needing checks cashed or money orders for rent / utility bills. I mean it only costs what, 9$ an hour for an extra employee on hand?
I've shopped at 3 other Publix stores since moving to Gainesville and Publix Exchange is my store!! About 10 minutes away, convenient entering and leaving, plenty of parking. Staff is very professional and friendly. Food has always been excellent.
I don't understand for a deli that's this busy why they have very minimal staff that's actually working at peak times. Its 6:06 and a line12 deep with 1 person making subs with 6 other employees doing NOTHING. This is the worst publix deli I've ever been to.
Staff is always pleasant and helpful. The store is always clean. There is a good selection of items. I have always shopped at Publix beginning when I accompanied my mom while sitting in the cart!
