And to that failed mall santa motherfudger that probably can’t touch his toes, when you see me next time I would just like you to know that it’s Miss. B**** to you, kind sir.
TLDR:
Everyone is always courteous and professional..i love this particular place every time I visit this is my place to shop for food and groceries
I will suggest the fresh fish there. The bake chicken is also great.
I was just trying to mind my own darn business and quickly buy a banana, but since that’s reason enough for an employee greeter to call me a b****, well darling, I guess I have to live up to that now.
XO,
On Monday Oct. 16th, around 6pm, I ran into Winn-Dixie on 34th Street, Gainesville, FL, 32607 to grab a banana before I headed to practice. I was in a rush and consequently not remarkably conversational and so I didn’t fully hear what the old, white, pudgy employee/greeter with glasses at the door said and when he clarified by continuing to strike up a conversation about my shirt, I guess I didn’t smile and politely chat with him enough to appease his ego as I continued to rush into the store to buy my gosh darn banana. On my way out, he said “Have a good day B****” and I politely responded “You too” because I still have manners even when I don’t feel like gracing a bored Winn-Dixie employee with an entertaining and engaging conversation to distract him from the woes of his inevitable ex-wife and grand kids that never call him.
(Regretfully I am going to censor this post on google, but please imagine it with all the colorful language intended)
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean store, good sales. Excellent beef.
I’m not expecting anyone to even fire this lovely example of Mrs. Claus’ first ex-husband, but I would like all of his co-workers to read this. If a female customer is a b**** for not gracing him with smiles while quickly buying a piece of fruit, I can’t imagine he gets along well with many of his co-workers. So hello to the employees of Winn Dixie store number #2457 on 34th street. Mad props to you all for dealing with a man that's of a quality worse than your store’s bathrooms.
Very polite staff always smiling . They can open more registers! That would be then only issue love Winn Dixi
To anyone wondering if this narrative is deceptive and it is really the author, I, who is a hole of derriere, I would like you to know that unfortunately you will have to look to other literature for such a plot twist. When checking out, I kindly asked the cashier if her lane was still open. If she did need to close her lane for turnover and the next shift (which I don't even know if they were changing shifts at the time or anything), then I'm not trying to delay her and I would have happily hopped into the only other open lane with 5 people and a month's worth of food in each cart. Even when I'm not feeling incredibly conversational, I understand customer service sucks and I try to be as kind as possible to the employees. I've felt y'alls pain. I'm just trying to purchase my gosh darn piece of fruit in a way that causes the least amount of work for everyone.
