I couldn’t have asked for a better salesman than Tim Oldweiler. I haven’t purchased a car from a dealer since 1990, and I remember that stressful experience. Luckily, with Tim as my salesman, it was a much better experience this time around. He was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable about the vehicles. He took time with our interactions and never made me feel rushed or pressured.
I was surprised to learn that the Kia vehicles do not come with spare tires, and you purchase the spare tire and kit which, of course, ups the price of the vehicle. I was also told that the cost would be lower than the actual price, so that was another small surprise. This was from a different individual, so Tim was not part of this process. A bit of a hard sale by the finance person regarding extra warranties, etc., but if you request additional time to consider everything they are selling, they will accommodate that request. Be sure to ask and to pay attention to everything you initial and sign. Tim Oldweiler = 5+ Stars. Additional individuals = 3.5 Stars. Thank you, Tim! Good luck with everything!
I have been very impressed with sales and service at Kia. We went in originally based on an ad and they were very straight with us and everything was as advertised so we purchased a new van. A few weeks later we took our daughter in on an ad and drove off with a new Forte. They were very good at helping her with credit challenges being so young. But we have also taken our van in and service was fast and friendly.
