Your doctor may not communicate with you very effectively. Please make sure to sign up for mychart and read your specific results very carefully. Do not take your doctor's recommendations for additional tests unless you read your results carefully. Neither your doctor nor the doctor's PA will communicate the exact results with you, so you need to read them on mychart. Shands will send you for unnecessary procedures instead of simply referring you to follow-up with your primary care doctor.
Fell and broke my wrist on a Sunday afternoon & luckily this place was open. We arrived right at 5:00 when they opened & I was seen right away. X-rays, talked with a PA...Matt & the doctor. Had a sugar tong cast applied because of the swelling. In and quick. Thank heavens they were open Sunday (after hours) because I would have had to wait or go to the ER.
The PT folks are very professional and helpful.
Beautiful facility inside and out, the staff is amazing from check in to check out, they really make you feel like a priority and they will take great care of you.
Just suggestions to Harlee at reception to be more caring and responsive. Also please put some toys at your beautiful kid area.
