Our first experience with Walker was from their delivering of something we ordered through Bassett online. It was excellent. They kept us informed, they were kind, and the delivery guys were very nice. Very unlike our experience with Hudson furniture. we prefer to shop local if possible, so our next purchase of nightstands was through them. The store is alway clean, the sales personnel are educated, kind, and not pushy. Mary Kate, the manager, is incredibly kind, and beyond helpful. We just ordered a dresser for our bedroom set as well, and plan to buy all future furniture through Walker!
Walker Furniture is a business that treats you like a person first and a customer second. From horrible past experiences when it comes to customer service, Walker is one of a kind in doing whatever they can to make you a satisfied and returning customer. My husband and I have bought three different pieces of furniture from them - a couch, recliner, and coffee table. Being recently graduated college students, we didn't have a lot of money to spend on furniture, but we will pay any day for the service, expertise, and great relationships we have built with the Walker family. Thank you for standing out and being a family business who knows your name when so many just want the sale. You guys are awesome, and this teacher and wife would recommend you to anyone!
We worked with Jeff Smith and he went above and beyond to help us and provide us with the funiture we'd love for a long time! We bought our family room furniture first and he was very helpful in helping up match a chair to a couch and look for tables that would work as well. We then bought livingroom furniture that i realized later would be too large for our room. He took every measure possible, going above and beyond, calling numerous people at the factory, to cancel the order. In addition he offered us a full refund. We chose store credit for obvious reasons. We returned to the store and Trish helped us order different, smaller furniture. I felt everyone had our best interest at heart and truly wanted us to find what we would love and what would work for our home. I wouldn't buy furniture anywhere else in Gainesville.
The customer service you receive at Walker Furniture is excellent both before and after the sale. I recently had a warranty issue and the team Jeff, Trica and Robert handled it with no problems. Thanks to you all. This great customer service is why I have been a customer since the 1980's.
We had a great shopping experience thanks to Fred. He is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly and not the least bit pushy. There were plenty of pieces to choose from, and it can be overwhelming but Fred helped us narrow down our selection based on what we were looking for. We ended up customizing a couch and loveseat. I can't wait until the new furniture arrives!
