Clean, well-lit, air-conditioned, and friendly/helpful staff. This was the first laundromat that I have actually felt comfortable walking into. Coming to the laundromat didn't feel like a hassle!
The ladies at Don's Coin Laundry are the best. I drop my sheets off every week to be laundered (I'm an acupuncturist and go through many many sets of sheets each week). I have been very satisfied with the quality of the laundering and particularly the folding that is done. My sheets are clean and wrinkle free. I have special requirements as well and the staff is happy to accommodate my requests. Friendly high quality service. Highly recommend!
It's got some decent machines including big front loaders. However sometimes there is an impatient gal here who tries to hustle people out ahead of published hours. A week ago she was here. I was nice but she got into an ugly squabble with another gentleman. Caveat washer. (Owners: why can't she be paid right on Sunday? Or is she lying? I wish there was a decent laundry I could go to on Sunday night without missing the evening church services.)
I been doing laundry for over a year here staff is very nice, but on 5/29/17 the only lady that was working there was very belligerent and rude in the morning because it was memorial day and she didn't want to be there. She must be new because all these older ladies are the most adorable. My money got stuck in the machine and she went ballistic she said we do not do refunds anymore. Its appalling that a customer should get treated this way.
This is the BEST laundramat we've used in Gainesville. It's always clean, has clean restrooms too AND Kathy always does the best job on things we drop off to be cleaned. My Wife & I Highly Recommend Don's.
