Updated review: Since I wrote my first review, Pomodoro has raised their prices and changed their menu. It's still a solid place to eat, but the initial cost effectiveness that really made this place stand out is gone.
We love this restaurant. Great Italian dishes, love the lasagna. The pizza is great as well. My favorite is probably the chicken marsala or the veal picatta. The cream of mushroom soup is the best ever, delicious! Nice atmosphere, well run facility.
Excellent service. My server had definitely earned his %20+ tip. Menu items are pricey, but the lunch special is reasonably priced for a generous but not overwhelming portion. Could use more garlic and even a little pepper. Atmosphere is classic Italian restaurant, pleasant and cheesy.
First and foremost, they accommodated at last minute, a rehearsal dinner of 26 persons. That alone was worth 5 stars. The service was impeccable. The servers were friendly, prompt and accurate. The food was delicious. The experience was memorable for all of our family and wedding party. Thank you for making our night extra special!
Original review: Incredible food, unbeatable price, and personable service. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. From the fresh baked bread to the polite and attentive staff, to the owner/manager(?) who is out every night cleaning up tables and conversing with guests, this place is the real deal. Pomodoro provides what feels like a $75 dinner with five-star service for a hard to believe price point of around $15 per person. Just go, you won't be disappointed.
We were seated right away, nice atmosphere and clean. Jordan our server was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The cheese stix were huge and awesome! We all enjoyed the fresh bread & minestrone soup made in house daily. The chicken Caesar and antipasto salad were awesome, fresh and abundant. Everything was fast but not rushed
