Had biopsy done yesterday on 5th fl pulmonary dept. Dr told wife and me I had cancer tumor on right side of chest and it needed removed quickly and then chemo, radiation. Told me to call today to set it up. Wife and me been all day ,no one answer phones, left 4/5 messages no one call us. Several of the numbers they gave us are no good or disconnected so Monday I have to start over trying to contact them. This is POOR SERVICE
I have received excellent care at Malcolm Randall VA Hospital since 2005 and exclusively since 2010. Of course, no hospital is perfect, but I would rather receive care here and in the VA system than any other place. Compared to the non VA hospitals I have been a patient in ( and most were very good) the staff here are the best. It seems that everyone has a sense of the privilege of serving those who served. And many themselves have military experience. Simply put, great care from great people. Thank you all.
Worst ER intake nurses ever. Both were on their phones the whole time and made me sit in the waiting room with my own urine sample in a bag for an hour and a half. Plus, against OSHA, they take vital signs and check you in, in the waiting room. Only reason they're getting 3stars is the fact that everyone else in the ER and ICU was absolutely fantastic.
the va has the best treatment out there when you can get seen. seating 3 hours to get seen then they tell ya that the doctor your waiting on has not made it there yet.and they have not done your paper work anyway. to many people playing on cell phones and not doing there job. pres Trump needs to do some checking up on who is and are not doing there job at this place.because management ain't.
I have tried calling the "Appointments Scheduling Unit" several times. Each time I have waited over an hour listening to the same message over and over. "Your call is important to us, please stay on the line." Well, If you have a few hours and a land-line you may get a human. I gave up and drove to the hospital to make my appointments in person. I live close... Its sad to think about the vets too sick do this. Otherwise I've had good service when I arrive for my appointment.
