Call bell had been left out of reach on many occasions.
In house wound care team have been good.
Pharmacy will refuse to use your home meds, even if they do not carry it. Wife helped get that straightened out. Prepare for a fight.
My experience here was awful.
Staff will move tables and such then not put them back.(my pet peeve)
More than excellent
The Doctors and nurses are NEVER on the same page. No physical therapy on the weekends...REALLY?!! So that means the patient lies in bed ALL weekend long. So far not happy.....
Food is ok, they will replace the meal quickly if not. (Grilled cheese is great, as are the burgers)
They update the white board daily.
Doctors change every Monday, and do not bother to read charts. Nor do they talk to the nurses. No continuity of care.
Failing to do wound care as ordered.
So far it seems like a nursing home verses a place that's trying to get a patient well.
WiFi is terrible. Not important to some, but I need it as I am here for 6-8 weeks.
Rehab doesn’t play on fri, sat, or sun.
Was at select after I had a stroke, came there from Sands Hospital. I felt many of the staff were clueless. I am grateful that my daughter had the presence of mind to get me into Brooks Rehab for stroke patients. I was at Brooks in Jacksonville for 1/20 until 2/25 this year. While there I had speech, physical and occupational therapy sessions every day. The folks at Sands saved my life after the stroke, but Brooks helped me put all the pieces together again. Neither Sands or select are at the top of my list. Not good experiences.
Not very quiet at night.
staff are for the most part very friendly.
I am on a klinitron bed that few staffers know how to use. Air bed not functional for a week before anything was done.
Employees failing to do basic needs.
My overall experience would lead me to another facility should I need this service again.
